You can give birth at any hospital that has a maternity service in Qatar. Your primary health care doctor can help you to decide in which hospital you want to have your baby. Already, you would have been booked to deliver at a HMC maternity hospital near your home for easy access and convenience.

Women's Wellness and Research Center (WWRC)
WWRC offers personalized, family-centered care to all women and newborns in Qatar. Its scope of services covers prenatal, postnatal and newborn care. The hospital’s Patient Family Education unit offers childbirth education classes which include antenatal care, labor and delivery, postnatal, breastfeeding and newborn care, also pre-arranged Labor Room tour to provide women the opportunity to familiarize them with the environment where they will be delivering in.
In addition, WWRC provides postpartum specialized care to women, who have experienced a high-risk pregnancy or given birth by Caesarian section through its Postnatal Community Midwifery Homecare Services. Under this service, a midwifery team visits patients in their home within 72 hours after the birth of the baby and they often conduct a follow up visit between 7 to 14 days after birth.

Al Khor Hospital
Al Khor’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Department provides excellent antenatal, postnatal and gynecological care to all women in the Northern region removing the need to travel to Doha. The hospital’s Well Women Clinic holds antenatal classes providing vital information about pregnancy and delivery to expectant mums. Al Khor Hospital has Vaginal Birth after Cesarean Section (VBAC) Clinic to encourage pregnant women to try giving birth naturally after a previous Cesarean section. The hospital also has a Bereavement Clinic that provides psychological supports to women after the loss of a baby or pregnancy.
In addition, Al Khor Hospital has introduced Postnatal Community Midwifery Home Care Services offering post-delivery care to women in the comfort of their homes thus removing the need for frequent OPD visits.

The Cuban Hospital
Working closely with Women’s Wellness and Research Center, The Cuban Hospital’s maternity service, or the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, provides high quality antenatal care in the Outpatient Department and Emergency Department.
The hospital has a maternity ward, labor rooms, operating theaters and ICU (adult and newborn) to provide the best postnatal and gynecological care to women in Dukhan and its environ.
